Galen was in the construction field before getting into tattooing. He started working in a shop part time until 2009. At this point he got laid off for the last time in construction and decided to dedicate his energy to doing something he’d always dreamed of doing, making a living by doing artwork.
Galen worked at a few different shops in Sonoma County before opening his own shop in 2015. As the housing market took of again in Sonoma County , he decided to move his family to Humboldt County to escape the rat race near the bay area. He has now lived in Eureka since 2016 and is working hard to grow a reputation and clientele in Eureka, Arcata, and the rest of Humboldt County.
Galen is capable of almost any style but specializes in floral, Japanese, animals, skulls and realism with an illustrative aspect to his designs.
